I promise this is my last new blog.

This year, at least.

Maybe you've read Backwoods Fashionista. Maybe you were kind enough to peruse my writing blog, The Fruit of my Daydreams. Maybe you even remember our family blog- Changing Rhythm. And maybe you're wondering why I keep making blogs and ditching them.

The problem is- I'm crazy. I ditched Changing Rhythm after we moved to a bigger house, where I felt less justified in claiming some sort of mastery over a frustrating financial situation.

I ditched Fruit of my day dreams out of frustration over my lack luster writing.

And Backwoods Fashionista was a blast, but ultimately, I'm not 20. I have three kids and not enough time to devote to dressing and photographing myself daily.

I stopped the fashion blog during NaNoWrimo, whilst focusing on my '09 novel. And at the end of the month, I was knee deep in final projects, a term paper and other things surrounding the Art class I was taking. I was tempted to start an art blog when it hit me.

I have too many interests to blog each of them. I'm a schizophrenic human being. I need one un-apologetic blog encompassing my craziness. No explanations. Just posts on the obsession of the day- or week.

Some days it could be shoes. Others, it could be a drawing I'm failing at, or a section of a story that sucks. Maybe I will have gotten a new dress at the Salvation Army, or perhaps I will finally make a good omelet.

Either way, you will hear about it. I might even include some parenting epiphanies or something. Those times when I realize how badly I'm screwing up my kids, or even a post about my husband and his craziness. There could even be book reviews.

So, essentially, if you either tolerate my ramblings or or some reason enjoy my self-deprecation, this is the one, unified place for you.
